Business Education Technology
Every student enrolled in Business Education takes MOUS and Accounting. The MOUS Academy uses Microsoft Office XP Suite, the gold standard of business everywhere. After learning to key using the correct fingers, students learn word processing (Word XP), spreadsheet (Excel XP), presentations (PowerPoint XP), and databases (Access XP). All students prepare to take the Microsoft Office User Specialist (MOUS) exams as seniors; holders of MOUS certificates prove to employers that they are highly skilled. Student also learn the basics of entrepreneurship. Students with GPA's greater than 2.5 will have the opportunity to take 2 college courses.
All Business Educations join the Mustang Chapter of Future Business leaders of America, consistently one of the top ten FBLA chapters in the state of Pennsylvania.
The Business Education curriculum prepares students for both entry-level employment and post-secondary education.
