I am certified in Elementary Education and in Comprehensive English (Middle through High School). I earned my B.A. and M.Ed. at Temple University. As a teacher, I've traveled to Japan through the Japan Fulbright Memorial Fund, and to Turkey through a TAFSUS/Okumus Foundation Fellowship. During my recent Sabbatical, I explored the Cuyahoga Valley, Yellowstone, Rocky Mountain, Joshua Tree, and the Grand Canyon National Parks, snorkeled in the Sea of Cortez, walked on the Mendenhall Galcier, snow-shoed on Canada's Whistler Mountain, and hiked the Grand Canyon of Pennsylvania. I believe that learning is a lifelong adventure.
