My journey to Jenks has been an adventure! I graduated fromChestnut Hill College with a BS in Mathematics and later went back for a Masters in Elementary Education. I have a diverse work experience- having been an actuarial intern; was in the restauraunt industry as a server, restauraunt manager, party planner, and catering director; was a marketing director and office manager for an architecture firm; and was a director of children's programs for a community center.

In 1996 I began my tenure with the School District of Philadelphia. I have experience teaching every grade fromKindergarten through sixth grade with a strong focus in the balanced literacy framework and creative math experience. I came to Jenks in 2004 and have found my professional home. At Jenks I have had the pleasure of working in the upper elementary and middle school as a teacher of literacy, writing, science, and math. The role of Dean of Students came t me in 2007 and I have welcomed the change of pace in my school day!
