Ashland Chemical Company
Ashland Chemical Company has formally adopted Key School and through this partnership provides funding for our Reading Is Fundamental Program through which every student receives three free books a year, gives career insights and presentations to our students, and encourages staff members to volunteer to tutor students in need of academic support.
College Settlement Camp
Through our association with the College Settlement Camp, located on Horsham, Pennsylvania farmland, many of our students receive two-week summer camp scholarships. Summer camp focuses on the students having fun, learning a skill, developing self-esteem, improving interactions and appreciating the outdoors.
Engine 53 of the Philadelphia Fire Dept.
Engine 53 of the Philadelphia Fire Department has formally adopted Key School and provides fire prevention programs and tours of the fire station for many of our classes and also provides free smoke detectors for many of our families.
Methodist Hospital
Methodist Hospital has formally adopted the Francis Scott Key School. Through this adoption, Methodist Hospital provides instructional programs on hospital services, health issues for our students and their families, meeting space and a venue for displaying student-made projects.
Musicopia
Musicopia, a nonprofit music education organization dedicated to bringing live musical programs to children in Delaware Valley schools, is in the process of formally adopting the Key School. In an effort to enhance our music program, Musicopia is providing culturally diverse music programs and is donating a large number of musical instruments that will augment our school’s collection, enabling many more students to play a musical instrument.
