Read the book Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes by  Elenor Coerr.

Assignment: Design a book jacket for Sadako and the Thousand Paper Cranes.

Front Cover: Design a cover that includes the title of the book, author's name, and your name. Include a related illustration.

Inside Cover Describe the main character using creative language. Use a thesaurus to find 5 adjectives that describe him or her.

Back Cover: On the top half of the page write a paragraph that highlights the most exciting element of the book. This paragraph should make the reader want to read the book but should not include your personal opinion. On the bottom half of the page write a one-paragraph review of the book. This paragraph should tell what you liked or disliked about the book.

Bring the book and project to school on the first day.
