Grade Level Communities |

The John Welsh Elementary School is divided into nine Grade Level Learning Communities (GLCs). The goal of the Grade Level Learning Communities are to work together to know all students within a community and to better help them achieve at higher levels. The Grade Level Learning Communities work together on the Comprehensive Student Support Process. By being part of a Grade Level Learning Community, teachers have access to each others areas of expertise and strengths. The teachers in the Grade Levell Learning Communities meet, plan, and share ideas with one another in order to be the best teacher they can for their students. |

Each community is made up of a chairperson at each grade level, regular education teachers, bilingual teachers, and special education teachers. |
