At the John Welsh School, all students are required to wear a school uniform.  This is a mandatory policy.  This uniform policy hopes to enhance the health and safety of the students and to avoid distractions to the educative process.

John Welsh Official School Gym Uniforms

Our School Council has modified our required school uniform and dress code to accommodate students during the warm weather..  These uniform options are listed below.  Students can still wear their regular school uniform if desired.  However, any student arriving at school not in compliance with the mandatory dress code will be excluded from attending school.  Thank you for your continued cooperation, assistance and support.

 

Official John Welsh Spring Uniform

1.  Official John Welsh imprinted T-shirt.

2.  Official John Welsh imprinted blue shorts.

3.  White short sleeve golf-type shirt.

4.  Blue dress shorts (knee length).

5.  Blue dress slacks, skirt or jumper.

6.  White short sleeve blouse.

7.  Socks and appropriate footwear.

     

Only appropriate dress style shorts (solid navy blue) are permissible to be worn.  Denim, tight fitted, spandex, or short length shorts will not be permitted.  Shirts other than those listed above are not permitted to be worn.  This includes undershirts.  All shirts must be worn inside the child's shorts or pants at all times.  Children are expected to come wearing clean clothing daily.  Halter tops, flip-flops, or other open toe footwear are also not permitted to be worn at school.
