Superintendent Search Process

The School Reform Commission's (SRC) Superintendent Search Team has released the official job description for the School District of Philadelphia's next Superintendent/Chief Executive Officer of Schools.

As part of the process, the Superintendent Search Team arranged approximately fifteen community forums throughout the City to gather ideas and recommendations from the community. To view a copy of the report detailing the information collected during the forums click here.

The SRC is aiming to have the new Superintendent/CEO take office in time for the new school year, and would like your input. Please submit nominations, questions, or suggestions to superintendentsearch@philasd.org and continue to look for updates on this page as the search continues.
