Postsecondary Readiness in Schools

The Office of Postsecondary Readiness works together with all District schools (pre-k – 12) to support: Anchor Goal 1: 100% of students graduate ready for college and career and the School District College and Career Readiness Framework.

We work with faculty, staff, students, parents, and community organizations to develop and implement events and activities to enhance a postsecondary culture. Some of our activities include: Junior Achievement, College and Career Fairs, Field Trips to Colleges, Naviance implementation and task completion, and so much more!

To further support Anchor Goal 1, we have embedded 17 College and Career Readiness Coordinators inside of 22 public high schools to assist with the coordination of school-based advisory and resources to support a postsecondary success mindset.
