STEM Programs
The Fox Chase Cancer Center, in partnership with William Tennent High School, is offering the Teen Research Internship Program (TRIP) Initiative during the Winter/Spring of 2021.
TRIP is an intensive 14-week science exploratory program for select high school students from Philadelphia and the surrounding communities. At its core, the program aims to foster a love for science whilst building resiliency, communication and critical thinking skills outside the traditional confines of school.
Importantly, this program is free for all students. The program has been proven to be transformative for students, giving them a peek into the science world that both excites the imagination and helps with career path decisions.
The Army Educational Outreach Program (AEOP) – offers our nation’s youth and teachers opportunities for meaningful, real-world STEM experiences, competitions and paid internships alongside Army researchers.
Unite is a pre-collegiate summer experience held at higher education institutions across the country. Unite encourages students to pursue college majors and careers in engineering and other STEM-related fields through a program of focused hands-on rigorous academics, enrichment and career exploration.
