Students who are passionate about healthcare, or want to start their education rooted in the field, can learn the foundational knowledge and technical skills for any healthcare profession. Valuable experience in the industry through work-based learning opportunities are offered through our partnerships with medical offices, hospitals and other healthcare institutions.

Students in the Health cluster participate in field trips to the Mutter Museum, Drexel’s Medical Program, Lankenau Hospital, and more! Many students complete internships at Fox Cancer Center, St. Christopher’s Hospital, and the PA Fire Dept.

Dental assistants are integral members of any dental health team. Students in the Dental Assistant program learn through hands-on teaching with industry professionals.

EMTs are crucial members of society, and students enrolled in this program graduate with the skills to go and do a job that saves lives. This program prepares individuals, under remote supervision of physicians, to recognize, assess and manage medical emergencies in prehospital settings, and to supervise ambulance personnel.

Firefighter Training Academy: Prepares students for certification and careers as Emergency Medical Technicians and firefighters.

For students who want to work in the health industry and thrive in working with data and organizing information, the Health Information Management program teaches students how to classify medical information and prepare records, under the supervision of a medical records administrator.

Prepares students to perform functions related to physical rehabilitation. Includes instruction in roles and responsibilities of rehabilitation providers, basic function of the human body, disabling conditions, therapeutic skills, client management and communication skills.
