Computer Supports Systems Technology is an instructional program that prepares students to apply basic engineering principles and technical skills in support of professionals who use computer systems. The Computer Supports Systems Technology Program prepares students to enter a career in computer support as part of an IT team. Students will learn how to diagnose and solve computer problems, upgrade computer systems, properly install computer components. This program includes instruction in basic computer design and architecture, programming, problems of specific computer applications, component and system maintenance and inspection procedures, hardware and software problem diagnosis and repair and report preparation.
