Vice President"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\">[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]As reported by Denise Magasich, CTE&#8217;s Industry Development Specialist for the Business cluster:<\/p>\n<p>On Thursday, 1\/19, five CTE Accounting students at Lincoln High School interviewed Ajay Ramesh, Vice President of Hilco Redevelopment Partners during a monthly mentoring session set up by Melodee R. Jackson, the office of CTE Work Based Learning Coordinator.<br \/>\nLincoln High School was chosen to participate in the informational interview session which promotes career exposure and could possibly lead to a &#8220;paid internship&#8221; this summer.<\/p>\n<p>On a monthly basis, 3-5 students from participating schools research Hilco and its principles and create a list of questions. Northeast High School, Edison, and West Philly High School have also participated.<\/p>\n<p>Hilco Redevelopment Partners (HRP), is turning the former PES Refinery into The Bellwether District, a 1300-acre state-of-the-art campus. HRP will remediate and transform a relic of the past into a green, sustainable development and an economic engine for all of Philadelphia.
