Rachel joins the School District of Philadelphia’s team of technology integration coaches with 14 years of experience working in Philadelphia charter and public schools. She attended Drexel University for both her undergraduate and graduate degrees.
After teaching for eleven years in a K-8 setting, Rachel joined Carnegie Learning’s MathCounts team, first as a specialist, and then as a program manager.
Rachel is an advocate of using number talks to strengthen students’ number sense and presented on this topic at the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics Annual Conference. She sees technology integration as an exciting opportunity to engage students across content areas.
Rachel lives in Center City with her husband and two sons. She loves attending dance fitness classes in her spare time.
