Dominic is a product of the School District of Philadelphia, as a proud alumnus of Stephen Decatur Elementary School, Benjamin Rush Middle, and George Washington High School. After graduating from Washington, Dominic attended Alvernia University and pursued a degree in elementary education.

Dominic began teaching full time for the School District of Philadelphia in 2009 at Alexander Adaire School in Fishtown. During his time at Adaire, Dominic held many roles including 5th & 6th grade teacher, digital literacy teacher, and SBTL. In addition to teaching, Dominic worked closely with colleagues as the building TTL, RtII Champion, and Aimsweb LAM. These roles helped Dominic to build and model successful professional development and coaching sessions.

Dominic has always had a passion for using technology to enhance learning experiences, which eventually prompted him to pursue a master’s degree in technology education from Grand Canyon University. This education inspired Dominic to help provide several programs for his students at Adaire, including enrichment clubs with robotics, coding, and 3D printing.

Dominic is now a technology integration specialist for the Office of Educational Technology. This position allows Dominic to continue to pursue his passion, while working with teachers and students throughout the School District.
