Device Reactivation

New devices must be registered, and each year all devices must be reactivated in the Wireless Center.

Normally, at the end of a school year all MAC registered devices are deactivated. These devices will be will be redirected to an access denied page: (https://wirelesscenter.philasd.org/Images/DeactivatedDeviceSchl.jpg).

An authorized Wireless Access Manager (WAM) will need to reactivate the devices.

  1. The Wireless Access Manager (WAM) will need to go to https://wirelesscenter.philasd.org/WiFiAuth.html.
  2. Enter your Username and Password.
  3. Click on the “Login” button.
  4. You will be redirected to the Access Manager page.
  5. Click on the “Modify” tab.
  6. Click on the checkbox next to the computer you want to reactivate.
  7. Click on the “Activate” button.
  8. You will be redirected to a confirmation screen. Click on the “I agree” ACTIVATE” button.
  9. The computers are reactivated. Click on the “Logout” button.

The device must NOT be connected to the wireless network for 24 hours for the process to be completed.
