Act 48 Information

All educators holding Pennsylvania public school certification including Instructional I and II, Educational Specialist I and II, Administrative, Supervisory, Letters of Eligibility and all vocational certificates are required to earn Act 48 hours

Office of Certification

The Office of Certification oversees Act 48 compliance for all eligible employees in the District

Site Selection

Site Selection is a process by which teachers, counselors, and librarians apply to be considered for vacancies during the spring hiring season. A school Staff Selection Committee interviews and selects qualified candidates who best meet the criteria for their school's vacancies.
