Each year, more than 130,000 students, parent/guardians, teachers, and principals participate in a survey about their schools. The District-Wide Survey (DWS) provides information on what is working and what needs to be improved. The key topics the survey asks about are climate, instruction, leadership, professional capacity, and parent/guardian community ties. It also asks about lots of other sub-topics. This slide deck summarizes District-level results from the 2018-19 survey. For more information about the DWS, visit www.philasd.org/dws.
