Drive-Thru Opportunity - Friday, August 28th
Gear up for a new school year!
It’s almost the start of a new school year and the School District of Philadelphia wants to help you get ready! The District is partnering with Radio One, Brown’s ShopRite, Office Depot, and Converse to host the Back-to-School Drive-Thru Backpack Giveaway on Friday, August 28 at Lincoln Financial Field, K Lot.
The event starts at 9:00 a.m., and will feature free backpacks with school supplies and free Converse sneakers, while supplies last, along with a live Radio One broadcast. Be sure to come early. Drive-ups only, no walk ups allowed.
Each child in the car will receive a backpack. If no child is present, a max of two (2) bags will be given.
*Appointments are NOT required for Drive-Thru giveaway at Lincoln Financial Field, K Lot

Join us at our second giveaway opportunity
In order to accommodate our families that do not have a vehicle to attend the Drive-Thru event, the District with the support of Radio One and Brown’s ShopRite will be offering an opportunity for families to receive a backpack and school supplies in-person by making an appointment for pick-up at one of the following Brown’s ShopRite Locations on Monday, August 31, 2020. Please only sign up for one appointment and bring a photo ID with you to receive your giveaway.
