Get Hands-On at Philly’s Farm!
Bring agriculture, STEM, wildlife science, and sustainability to life with a hands-on field trip at Fox Chase Farm.
Students step outside the classroom and into a working farm where they can explore, investigate, meet animals, and experience the connections between food, land, science, and community.
A Classroom Without Walls
Fox Chase Farm turns the farm into a classroom for the day. Students explore hands-on STEM activity stations designed to connect agriculture and wildlife science with real-world experiences.
From meeting farm animals to investigating plants, ecosystems, food production, and sustainable practices, students learn by seeing, touching, questioning, and doing.

Our goal is to cultivate awareness of farming’s vital role in society, empower future agricultural leaders, and help students build a deeper understanding of the connections between food, land, science, and community.
Bring Your Class or Group to the Farm
Fox Chase Farm field trips offer an immersive educational experience for students and organized groups looking to explore agriculture beyond the classroom.
Whether students are discovering where their food comes from, meeting a farm animal for the first time, or connecting classroom science to a real agricultural environment, the farm provides opportunities to make learning tangible and memorable.
