Fox Chase Farm is a working educational demonstration farm operated by the School District of Philadelphia. Throughout the year, we welcome students, families, educators, and community members to experience agriculture, nature, and hands-on learning.<\/p>\n

Whether you’re visiting our farm animals, exploring the gardens, enjoying seasonal programs, or attending one of our community events, there’s always something growing at the farm.<\/p>\n

Hours of Operation<\/strong><\/p>\n

The farm is open to the public daily from 8:00 PM until 5:00 PM or dusk<\/strong>, weather permitting.<\/p>\n

Join us for a full day of family-friendly fun as we celebrate bats, wildlife, agriculture, and the important role they all play in a healthy ecosystem. Discover why bats are some of nature\u2019s most fascinating nighttime flyers through hands-on activities, educational presentations, and opportunities to connect with local wildlife and environmental experts.<\/p>\n

Build your own bat house to take home and learn how providing safe habitat can help support local bat populations. Then explore everything else happening around the farm, including our animals, an artisan market featuring local makers and vendors, educational organizations from across the community, hands-on activities, and much more.<\/p>\n

Whether you\u2019re a lifelong bat fan or simply bat-curious, there will be plenty to discover throughout the day. Vendors and organizations with a connection to bats, wildlife, conservation, nature, agriculture, or farm-based education are especially encouraged to apply.<\/p>\n
