The School District of Philadelphia is committed to transforming the educational opportunities we offer the city’s 200,000 school-aged children, especially our youngest students. Early Childhood Field Coordinators at the District work with our Pre-Schools to manage the school’s instructional programming and day-to-day operations reinforce the clear vision for learning for all students; ensure a safe, secure and orderly learning environment; and, work with the staff to cultivate strong relationships with diverse stakeholders including families and communities.

The measures of the Early Childhood Field Coordinator Evaluation System capture different aspects of school leadership and together, provide a holistic view of an Early Childhood Field Coordinator’s effectiveness, as it captures both practice and student outcomes.
