The Philadelphia Public League is proud to partner with the Positive Coaching Alliance (PCA) and the Philadelphia Eagles to honor a male and female student-athlete and a male and female coach in addition to an athletic director — as our Eagles/PCA Scholar-Athlete of the Year, Coach of the Year, and AD of the Year award winners for the PPL.

It is with great pleasure that the SDP Office of Athletics informed us that Liaralis Santiago has been selected as the Philadelphia Eagles/Positive Coaching Alliance Female Scholar-Athlete of the Year!

This is a great honor that showcases Mastbaum’s outstanding student-athletes and coaches who continuously go above and beyond to improve Mastbaum’s academic and athletic programs. Congratulations to Liaralis Santiago and kudos to Dr. Riley, Girls’ Volleyball Coach and Mr. Constance, Liaralis’ Carpentry Shop Teacher.

We are excited for the 10 students who will be participating in the St. Christopher Health Tech program this year (4 Seniors & 6 Juniors).

These students will go to St. Christopher’s Hospital on during the remainder of the school year practicing the skills they’ve learned in class.
