|ESL Program Exit Letter||Parents, teachers||Notification letter provided to parents/guardians of English Learners (ELs) once they have achieved English language proficiency by meeting the state’s exiting (reclassification) criteria.|
|Not English Learner Letter||Parents, teachers||Notification letter provided to parents/guardians of students once the English proficiency placement test is completed. Indicates that the ESL teacher (or Multilingual Assessment Center) has determined that the student is not an English Learner.|

|NLA Referral Form||English||Teachers||Referral form completed by a teacher on behalf of a student who meets at least one of the following criteria: 1) Enrolled in a U.S. school after September 1st, 2017; 2) Feeder neighborhood high school does not have a program for Level 1 students; or 3) Student has interrupted formal education. Feeder neighborhood school does not have a specialized instructional program for Level 1 EL students.|
