Dear Marín Family,
Welcome to the Hon. Luis Muñoz-Marín Elementary School, where we DREAM big, LIVE with purpose, and ACHIEVE success. I am ecstatic to welcome you all back to the new 2023-2024 academic school year! I began my teaching career at Marín and am honored to continue in leading in my own school community.
Marín has risen to the occasion in all arenas regarding academics, behavior, and community involvement. However, we continue to grow as a school and we’re excited to embark upon the 2023-2024 academic year with an eye towards continued advancement, equitable experiences, and overall success for our students. At Marín we value all stakeholders and work diligently to ensure we continue to embody the notion of being a changemaker.
Our school staff is diverse, consisting of members from all cultural backgrounds, educational experiences, and individualized talents that we celebrate with our students each and every day. At Marín every voice matters, especially those of our students. We holistically dedicate our time to building our students to be the best version of themselves through academics, social-emotional learning, college and career readiness, and strategic partnerships within the community. Our dual language program also provides pathways to learning and cultural backgrounds as students explore content in both English and Spanish.
