This is a\u00a0great option for older kids\u00a0for whom the above apps are too basic or juvenile. All the lessons are also available for free on the\u00a0website\u00a0as well, a good option for those without an Apple device.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/apps\/details?id=es.virtualcode.musictutor.sightread_lite\">Music Tutor Sight Read Lite<\/a>\u00a0 &#8211; This\u00a0Android app offers quizzes and lessons for music students learning to sight read. A paid version offers additional features. For Apple users,\u00a0Music Tutor Free\u00a0offers similar functionality.\u00a0Free<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/apps.apple.com\/us\/app\/piano-dust-buster-by-joytunes\/id502356539\">Piano Dust Buster<\/a> &#8211; Use this iOS app with your real, acoustic piano or keyboard, or use the touchscreen option on your device. The app introduces a game component to learning piano, motivating kids to want to practice. Other symphonies, including the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.sfskids.org\/\">San Francisco Symphony<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mydso.com\/dso-kids\/\">Dallas Symphony Orchestra<\/a>\u00a0also have websites for kids with games and lessons\u2014your own local symphony may have one too!\u00a0Free<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.virtualdrumming.com\/\">Virtual Drumming<\/a> &#8211; Whether your child\u00a0is already a drummer or is interested in drumming and you\u2019re not quite ready to buy a drum kit, this site is a great resource.
