Anchor Goal 1
Implementation and Outcome Goals for 2018-19
The Anchor Goals in Action Plan 3.0 establish the goals and values that drive our work – including our work in the Office of Research and Evaluation. Anchor Goal 1 states that 100% of students will graduate ready for college or career.
To reach this Anchor Goal, outcome goals for the 2018-19 school year include:
High School
- At least 75% of 9th grade students will be on track to earn a minimum of 5 quality credits each marking period.
- At least 60% of students will attend 95% of days or more. (No more than 15% of students will attend less than 85% of days.)
- At least 90% of 9th grade students will have 0 out-of-school suspensions.
- At least 95% of 12th grade students will be on track for graduation.
Middle School
- At least 75% of students will earn A’s and B’s in all core courses.
- At least 60% of students will attend at least 95% of days or more.
- At least 90% of students with will have 0 out-of-school suspensions.
- No more than 20% of students will score below basic on the Reading and Math PSSA.
To reach these outcome goals, implementation goals for the 2018-19 school year include:
High School
- All 9th grade students will be progress monitored at least twice monthly for attendance.
- All 9th grade students will be progress monitored at least twice quarterly for credit attainment (Interim Reports and Marking Terms.)
- All 9th grade students will have access to in-year credit recovery.
- All 11th grade students will be progress monitored by the end of 11th grade for credit attainment.
- All incoming 9th grade IEPs will be reviewed annually to ensure the standards are aligned to HS diploma requirements.
- 100% of schools will offer at least one advanced course option.
Middle School
- All students are progress monitored for grades twice quarterly.
- All students are progress monitored at least twice monthly for attendance.
- All schools will utilize a strategy that promotes single school culture and focuses on reinforcing positive behaviors.
