The survey covers six topic areas, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Behaviors that contribute to unintentional injuries and violence,<\/li>\n<li>Sexual behaviors related to unintended pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases, including HIV infection,<\/li>\n<li>Alcohol and other drug use,<\/li>\n<li>Tobacco use,<\/li>\n<li>Unhealthy dietary behaviors, and<\/li>\n<li>Inadequate physical activity.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This survey is conducted in cities and states across the United States, and it is one of the most important national data sources on youth risk behaviors that lead to death and disability.<\/p>\n<p>In spring 2023, the YRBS was administered to a random sample of high school students at 31 randomly selected School District of Philadelphia (SDP) schools.
