{"id":5529,"date":"2020-10-14T17:04:25","date_gmt":"2020-10-14T21:04:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.philasd.org\/research\/?p=5529"},"modified":"2021-05-19T15:36:50","modified_gmt":"2021-05-19T19:36:50","slug":"summary-of-themes-from-the-feedback-form-responses-about-sdps-2020-school-reopening-plan","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.philasd.org\/research\/2020\/10\/14\/summary-of-themes-from-the-feedback-form-responses-about-sdps-2020-school-reopening-plan\/","title":{"rendered":"Summary of Themes from the \u201cFeedback Form\u201d Responses about SDP\u2019s 2020 School Reopening Plan"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\">[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Between June and August 2020, the Office of Evaluation, Research, and\u00a0Accountability (ERA) used an online feedback form to gather input about\u00a0reopening schools for the 2020-21 school year.\u00a0 The form allowed respondents to provide open-ended comments about\u00a0each of the different topics covered by\u00a0SDP\u2019s school reopening plan: Health and Safety, Learning\u00a0Models, Operations, Timeline, and Workforce Considerations, as well as feedback unrelated to these topics (&#8220;other&#8221;).\u00a0This report summarizes our findings from an analysis of the\u00a0comments submitted from the time the feedback form opened\u00a0on June 23 until August 14 to identify common words, phrases\u00a0and themes and determine if there were changes after SDP\u00a0announced its reopening plan on July 15 and\/or after SDP\u00a0announced its updated reopening plan on July 28 via email to\u00a0all District staff. We provide an overview of the most common\u00a0words and phrases in the comments by topic and\u00a0date range and compare trends over time.
