Philadelphia Public Schools\u2019 Board of Education Non-Voting Student Representative Application Process<\/h3>\n

Qualifications for Application <\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Student applicants to the Board of Education must be a current resident of the City of Philadelphia and attend a Philadelphia public school (District or Charter).
    \nStudent applicants must be in the 10th or 11th grade during their term as a student representative.
    \nStudent applicants must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 or higher, and in good standing.
    \nStudent applicants must be actively involved in their school community and willing to work to support Philadelphia\u2019s public schools, on behalf of their peers, on a regular basis.
    \nStudent applicants must be willing to represent their peers by communicating student opinions to the School Board, and reporting Board deliberations and actions to the student body.
    \nThe student representative must be available to meet with the School Board on a monthly basis, to communicate the concerns of their peers, and make an effort to be at every public meeting.
    \nStudent applicants must demonstrate an ability and willingness to work collaboratively with their counterpart in pursuit of successfully carrying out the work of Student Representatives.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Application Process <\/span><\/p>\n

    1. Applicants submit all application material on this Google Form<\/a> by no later than 5:00pm, on October 24, 2025.<\/li>\n
    2. Selected applicants will be interviewed by a committee of District and City leaders.<\/li>\n
