Safe Corridors
Safe Corridors is a more formalized volunteer effort to maintain safety around schools
Safe Corridors — a collaboration between the District, businesses and community members — aims to provide extra supervision for students traveling to and from school. It is similar to a neighborhood watch program: Volunteers can opt to patrol routes around schools at the start and end of the school day or to keep watch from their homes or businesses. Volunteers often work in teams, sharing information and reporting any suspicious or unusual activities.
Every District school has a Safe Corridors program but more volunteers are always needed. We are all safer and stronger when we work together. For more information, contact 215-400-4180
