Southern Family Enabled Connection

Welcome to the Southern Family Enabled Connection!

All students can learn, but the path to excellence is different for each student. This is particularly true of the students who come to us with special needs.  The staff at South Philadelphia High School works collaboratively with families and community agencies to support each learner, as identified in his/her Individualized Educational Plan (IEP). This support looks different for every student, and may range from consultation and support in the general education classroom to direct instruction in special education classes.

As a parent of a high school student with special needs, you probably spend a lot of time thinking about your child’s future. Resources on this page are provided to help you become aware of some of the programs that are available.  This page will be updated with pertinent school announcements/ communications.
