Teachers of Social Studies

Teachers of 6th-8th grade social studies will explore steps 4 and 5 of the Intellectual Preparation Process in Social Studies, including exploring the key questions to ask and the key resources to leverage. This 2 hour session will focus on supporting grade-level instruction by choosing appropriate resources, determining the key features of that resource, and preparing material for use with students.

Teachers of Science

Teachers of 6th-8th grade science will explore steps 4 and 5 of the Intellectual Preparation Process in science, including exploring the key questions to ask and the key resources to leverage. This 2 hour session will focus on supporting grade-level instruction by choosing and preparing instructional materials and preparing to engage with students.
