Life at Fox Chase Farm extends far beyond our favorite farm animals. Horticulture and agroforestry are essential parts of the farm ecosystem, supporting everything from food production to wildlife and pollinator health.
Our pollinator gardens provide critical food and habitat for bees and other beneficial insects, including the bees that call our apiary home. Across the farm, mature trees provide shade, habitat, soil protection, and seasonal resources, including the sugar maples that give us sap for maple syrup.
