Welcome to the Office of Family and Community Engagement (FACE)

We’re dedicated to creating and supporting partnerships among schools, families, and communities. As a central resource for family engagement, FACE staff strive to engage and inform parent leaders and families as essential partners in helping students achieve academic proficiency and college and career readiness. FACE is here to assist families in navigating the School District, and we are proud to offer opportunities for families to actively take part in their children’s academic lives.

Request For Proposals for Family Academy

The School District of Philadelphia and the Office of Family and Community Engagement are excited to announce the release of our Request For Proposals for Family Academy: Courses and Training (FACT) workshops for the 2021-22 school year!

Proposals from qualified individuals and organizations who have the ability to develop and deliver workshop offerings for FACT. Workshops must be designed to support the skills of parents and caregivers to understand what children are learning in schools, build the capacity to advocate for children, and build upon their own skills for personal and professional growth. If you are interested in learning more about submitting a proposal then please click the link below.
