Dear School District of Philadelphia Parents and Guardians,
I’m excited to announce that registration for the School District of Philadelphia’s Summer Programs is now open to all students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Our summer programs are thoughtfully designed to provide safe, engaging, and enriching environments where students can continue to learn, grow, and thrive. Whether your child is seeking academic enrichment, creative exploration, or valuable work experience, there is something for everyone. This year, we are proud to introduce new opportunities, like the Visual Arts and Dance intensive for middle to high-school students, while continuing beloved offerings like the Career and Technical Education Summer Camp. Through strong partnerships with the City of Philadelphia’s Office of Children and Families, we are also excited to once again offer the Summer Achievers program.
All current District students, including those entering kindergarten this fall, are eligible and encouraged to explore the exciting programming available to them. I encourage you to visit our website to learn more and to register as soon as possible, as seats are limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please keep in mind that while registration for most programs opens today, April 13th, and will continue on a rolling basis until full, some programs are invite-only, so registration will not be an option. Families and students will be notified about their enrollment status by mid-June. To register or gather more information, please visit the District’s Summer Programming websitehere.
I also invite you to download and share our Summer Programs flyer with friends and neighbors, and encourage you to participate in our Parent and Family University virtual workshops on Wednesday, April 15th. Please share this information with anyone who may benefit from these sessions! They will also be recorded for future viewing on the Parent & Family University website.

Summer programming is just one of the many ways we are delivering on our promise to create pathways for every child to imagine and realize any future they desire. Thank you for entrusting us with your child’s educational journey.
