The School District of Philadelphia is proud to announce that the 2026–2027 Parent & Family University (PFU) Request for Partnerships application is now open. This marks the second year of the District’s expanded partnership initiative designed to connect families with high-quality learning opportunities, resources, and community support. Applications open May 22, 2026 and close June 12, 2026.
Parent & Family University is seeking community organizations, nonprofits, businesses, academic institutions, and service providers interested in delivering engaging workshops, cohorts, and family learning experiences for District families and community members. Opportunities may be offered in-person or virtually and should align to one or more of PFU’s four core content pillars:
- Student Attendance & Joy
- Health & Wellness
- Civic Engagement
- Financial Literacy
PFU programming provides free resources, expert-led workshops, and community-based learning opportunities that empower families to support student success and strengthen school-family partnerships across Philadelphia.
Interested applicants may submit up to three workshop or program proposals for consideration. Information sessions and office hours will also be available throughout the application window to support prospective partners.
Organizations interested in applying can access the application and additional information at philasd.org/pfu. The application will officially go live at 12:00 PM on Friday, May 22, 2026.
