Our high school is currently building a Biotechnology Laboratory that will feature an aquaponics system, biophilia wall, and access to an outdoor greenhouse. The goal of the laboratory is to teach our students the importantce of sustainability and reducing our carbon footprint in our world.
21st Century Learning
PACS has a 1:1 Chromebook policy for students in grades 5, 6, 7, and 8. PACHS has a 1:1 initiative for students in grades 9 and 10. This program allows for greater direct contact between students and their teachers and greater collaboration among classmates.
The school has a comprehensive special education program that, in keeping with our mission statement, provides a wide range of services to meet the needs of all students and bring them to their highest level of potential. The school provides both academic and therapeutic support services in the most inclusive setting possible. A unique aspect of the program is our autistic /multiple disabilities support services, culminating in a transition program which provides academic support, pre-vocational /independent living instruction, transportation training and community based programming. Interns in our 18-21 program work in the community at jobs which are aligned to their interests and abilities to prepare for competitive employment.
Rigorous and Supportive Curriculum
Both campuses have recently updated and expanded their curriculum in Mathematics, Science, and Language Arts. This includes on-line platforms that allow students to access the curriculum from their home devices and mobile apps.

Developed annually by the Charter Schools Office (CSO) for all Philadelphia brick-and-mortar charter schools (except those up for renewal), these reports provide information on three main areas of charter school performance: academic success, organizational compliance and viability, and financial health and sustainability.

Notices of Deficiency are issued to schools regarding significant instances of non-compliance or poor performance that may affect student well-being or access. Notices of Deficiency clarify actions schools must take in order to resolve the deficiency.

- Annual Independent Financial Audits
Financial audits are produced annually by independent auditors for all charter schools in Pennsylvania. All charter schools are required to have an independent financial audit completed every year.

Developed annually by the School District of Philadelphia (SDP) for all traditional District and charter schools in the city, these reports provide information on schools’ achievement, progress, climate, and, for high schools, college and career readiness.
