Dear School District of Philadelphia Families,

Due to the storm that is expected to impact the Philadelphia area starting later this afternoon, we are canceling all after-school and athletic activities scheduled for this afternoon. This provides our staff, students and families with the time needed to get home safely. Schools will still dismiss at their normal times. At this time, we do not anticipate any impact to school schedules or District operations tomorrow. We will work closely with the city’s Office of Emergency Management to monitor weather and road conditions, and will update you IF there are any changes to school schedules or District operations on Tuesday, May 17. Again, we are canceling all after-school and athletic activities for this afternoon. Thank you and please be safe.
