Students who are drawn to understanding how vehicles work, and the science behind all things automotive, can learn the skills to repair, service and maintain all types of automobiles.
The Autobody Technology program prepares students with the technical knowledge and skills to repair, reconstruct and finish automobiles.
The auto industry requires specialists who are detail-oriented in the products and business of the auto repair and production world. Students will learn to manage and coordinate logistical functions in an enterprise, and to undertake the responsibilities of receiving, storing, shipping, controlling and distributing products and materials.
Eight (8) drivers from the NASCAR Next class (a program for the next generation of racecar drivers) are doing a “field trip” to Philadelphia on Wednesday, Sept. 27th. They are expected to become the next big wave of drivers in the sport and will be spending time at Mastbaum Technical High School with the automotive technology students at 1:30pm in the auditorium.
