During the Superintendent’s 2022 Listening & Learning Tour, school leaders and staff highlighted the need for greater accountability, responsiveness, and clarity from Central Office. In response to this feedback, Strategic Action 5.7 of Accelerate Philly calls for “an annual school leaders survey to provide feedback about Central Office operations.”
The Central Office Feedback Survey was administered for the first time in February 2024, and principals at District and alternative schools were invited to participate.
The survey was administered for the second time in May 2025, and principals and assistant principals at District and alternative schools were invited to participate.
The survey included opportunities for feedback in multiple areas, including:
- Overall feedback on Central Office.
- Feedback on individual departments/offices in Central Office.
- Feedback on selected District-wide initiatives and key actions related to Accelerate Philly.
