Philadelphia Young Playwrights: PYP At Home (Grades 3-12)

PYP at Home offers activities for students to complete solo or in collaboration with their families. Every two weeks we will be adding a new activity for each grade group to the list (Elementary, Middle, and High school) as well as another sample play written by a student in that grade group that won our Annual Playwriting Festival in the past.

We are also developing some pre-recorded video resources, including a 5 session series that will walk students ages 12 and up through the process of writing a 3 scene play. The videos will be released once a week starting in mid-April, and will be hosted on PYP at Home with the other activities we’re making available.
