Google Gemini is a state-of-the-art AI language model developed by Google AI. It’s designed to process and generate human-quality text, making it capable of tasks like translation, writing different kinds of creative content, and answering complex questions in an informative way. Gemini’s strength lies in its ability to learn from massive amounts of text and code data, allowing it to understand and respond to prompts with a high degree of accuracy and nuance. When students and staff use Gemini with their District account, the data is not collected and used to inform the Large Language Model.

Gemini is approved for all staff and will be available to students in Grades 9-12 starting in January 2025.
