Final Eligibility, Results & Waitlist
Final eligibility results were made available Wednesday, January 14th at 5:00 p.m. EST.
What Does this Mean?
In November, the District began informing applicants of their preliminary status, and whether they would be eligible for the lotteries of the schools to which they applied. Throughout December, applicants had the opportunity to submit an appeal or undergo an Individualized Review. Remember, eligibility does not mean or guarantee acceptance, but means students are eligible to be included in the lottery.
All school selection applicants who are determined to be eligible for the lottery will see their lottery results in the application system on Friday, January 23rd at 5:00 p.m.
Results
Lottery results for applications for the 2026-2027 school year will be available January 23rd at 5 pm.
Families will have until January 30th at 5 pm to respond or those offers will expire.
What You Need To Know:
- You must accept a School Selection offer before 5:00 PM on Friday, January 30, 2026. Offers still pending will auto-decline at 5:00 PM on Friday, January 30, 2026.
- Do not click the “Decline” button unless you are certain you do not want to accept that offer. Once you hit the ‘Decline” button, that school option will no longer be available to select, and the decision cannot be undone.

For questions or concerns with the school selection process or offer status: The Office of Student Enrollment and Placement (215-400-4290, schoolselect@philasd.org) is available to support students and families Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
For technical issues with accessing your application: The Family Tech Hotline (215-400-4444, or FamilyTechSupport@philasd.org) will have extended phone hours from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM on Friday, January 23, 2025. Regular hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
Waitlist
The first round of waitlist offers will be made available on February 1, 2026, and families will have until February 4 to respond to those offers or they will expire.
- Additional waitlist offers will be made every Monday, beginning February 9th, as seats become available. Families will receive an email when a waitlist offer has been extended.
- Families will have three days to respond to these waitlist offers before they expire.
Families should check their email and portal regularly for updates.
