Dear School District of Philadelphia Families and Staff,

Based on this evening’s data review and with safety as our highest priority, one additional school – Mary McLeod Bethune School – will provide virtual learning for students this week, Tuesday, January 18th through Friday, January 21st, 2022.  The principal and teachers will be contacting students and families directly with more information about virtual classes. Staff are still expected to report to work in person unless they are ill, self-isolating or quarantining due to COVID testing or exposure, or have an approved leave.

All other schools beyond those listed on the philasd.org/covidupdates website will provide in-person learning at this time.

We continue to do everything we can to safely keep as many of our schools open as consistently as possible. Thank you for everything you are doing to help maintain healthy in-person school environments and to support virtual learning when needed for everyone’s health and well-being.

The next update will be provided by 6 a.m. Enjoy the rest of your evening.
