Dear School District of Philadelphia Families,

The School District of Philadelphia is excited to announce the 4th Annual Back-to-School Celebration & Bus Tour! We cannot wait to hit the streets and help families prepare for the first day of the 2024-2025 school year – Monday, August 26, 2024.

As in previous years, the Tour is powered by the Independence Blue Cross Foundation, and brings critical Back-to-School information and services right to your neighborhood. From July 29 through August 17, the bus will travel across Philly hosting 7 fun-filled Mega-Events co-sponsored by various partners including Radio One, Office Depot, and Roosevelt Mall – as well as a new partner this year – Fashion District Philadelphia! At these events you can:

• enjoy snacks and frozen treats
• participate in fun games and raffles
• chat with our Street Team Ambassadors to get the back-to-school information you need
• register your child for PreKindergarten through 12th grade
• participate in educational activities
• sign up for a Parent Portal account
• get a free backpack and school supplies
• receive critical information from dozens of our partner organizations from around the city
• have your child receive for free the immunizations and school physicals required to attend school, and more.
