Amazing things happen when communities come together! The Friends of Mifflin ES successfully raised over $45k to partner with the School District of Philadelphia and built a playground at the school. They also volunteered to install the equipment under the direction of Andy Cush of General Recreation, Inc., who oversaw the process. The SDP staff and community members came together and achieved excellent results.
