Through a team of School Improvement Data Specialists, the Planning and Evidence-based Supports Office is dedicated to ensuring the strategies and collaborative decision-making process that supports all Districts schools, with a particular focus on the lowest performing schools as outlined in the reauthorization of ESEA in the form of ESSA. School Improvement Data Specialists offer customized school improvement support, at both the Network and School Levels, based on a continuous model of evidenced-based practices. Planning for improved school performance and student achievement provides a mechanism for identifying needs and establishing a common approach to meeting those needs at the school level.
