The EAT.RIGHT.NOW. (ERN) program delivers nutrition education to all eligible public and charter schools in The School District of Philadelphia (SDP). ERN is funded by the Pennsylvania (PA) Department of Public Welfare through PA Nutrition Education Tracks (PA TRACKS), a part of the United States Department of Agriculture’s Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program. The PA TRACKS initiative seeks to improve the nutrition and physical activity behaviors of SNAP participants across the state.

The purpose of this report is to present the multi-initiative evaluation findings of ERN programming conducted in 2013, as well as to provide recommendations to inform and strengthen future program delivery. This report examines the effects of the ERN program’s evidence-based core curriculum and other practice-based nutrition education curricula on achieving PA TRACKS’ goals and objectives.
