The Senior Exit Survey is administered annually each spring by the Office of Research and Evaluation (ORE). In 2024-25, ORE received responses from 7,369 seniors at 79 District high schools, representing 73.9% of enrolled 12th grade students.
Survey results indicated that:
- 80.9% of respondents intended to pursue postsecondary education within one year after high school.
- 50.4% of the respondents who intended to pursue postsecondary education planned to attend a 4-year university or college.
- About 81% of the respondents who intended to pursue postsecondary education also intended to work (either full-time or part-time) while in school.
- The most popular choices of major were 1) Health and Medicine, 2) Business, 3) Science, Math, and Technology, and 4) Trades and Personal Services.
- 19.3% of respondents indicated they would have liked more support from their high school in finding scholarships, and 13.8% wanted more support in applying to college.
